Social development
Health Partners International provides technical advisory support in the area of social development. We work at all levels, from government to local communities, and from policy to implementation:
- At policy level we work to build consensus around the fact that the voice and participation of the local community are as essential to the health sector as drug supply systems or robust financial management
- At local level we work with stakeholders to identify practical strategies to make health services more accountable to communities, and to bridge the gap between community-led initiatives and the formal health system.
One of our specialities is supporting initiatives in health systems strengthening . We use our expertise in social development to develop user-focused, responsive and accountable health services.
