Health Partners International is closely affiliated to a number of consultancy organisations worldwide with which it collaborates on a regular basis. These include:

 

Malaria Consortium

  • A not-for-profit organisation dedicated to combating malaria and other communicable diseases among the poorest and most vulnerable people in Africa and Asia.
  • The majority of Malaria Consortium's human and technical resources are based in Africa.
  • It supports ministries of health and partner organisations, and has offices in Uganda, Mozambique, Sudan, Zambia, Ethiopia and the UK.

 

Health Information Systems Programme (HISP)

  • A not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation run by directors drawn mainly from the public health sector and academia in South Africa.
  • Since 1994, HISP has expanded from a pilot project in three South African health districts to a global network active in 15 countries/states in Africa and Asia.
  • The network comprises universities, ministries of health, non-governmental organisations and private companies.
  • HISP shares information and communication technology (ICT) solutions, materials and experiences. It operates on the principles of free and open source software.
  • Its primary focus is on integrated health management information systems.
