Health Partners International is closely affiliated to the following three European based consultancy organisations, with which it collaborates on a regular basis:
- HERA (Health Research for Action) Ltd is a private company which was established in 1990 and registered in Belgium. HERA is an international multidisciplinary team with experience in both high and low-income countries. HERA's main areas of expertise are: health economics; health systems and health project planning, financing, management and evaluation; pharmaceutical sector development; epidemiology and health management information; and operational research.
- ETC Crystal is a public health consultancy which was established in 1997 and is based in the Netherlands. It promotes equitable and robust health systems that respond to local needs in low and middle-income countries. Its expertise is in design, appraisal, technical backstopping and evaluation of health and HIV/AIDS programmes to governments, non-governmental organisations, development agencies and private enterprises.
- Alter Sante is a consultancy and training organisation based in France. It focuses on health system development, health financing, and management of chronic diseases (TB, HIV/AIDS, cancer). Alter Santé has extensive experience in developing health systems in fragile states. It has a formal partnership with the International Union Against TB and Lung Disease (IUATLD).
